PRINCIPAL’S AWARDS
Students who have excelled or who have contributed to the improvement of the school community are honored throughout the year. Teachers choose students who have demonstrated outstanding effort and responsibility in various areas.
PROMOTION / RETENTION
Students must attend school regularly and should complete the course of study for their grade level before advancing to the next grade level. The student’s ability to master the required material and attendance are the criteria for academic promotion/retention.
If a student is retained, a judicious examination of the child’s ability to master the required material will take place among the Principal, teachers, and parents before any decision is made about retention. If possible, a decision should be made by the end of the second trimester.
