| Students in Grades 4 through 8 receive departmentalized instruction. Subjects are taught by different teachers allowing them to specialize and provide more concentrated instruction in a particular area. |
Additional Courses
Students are instructed in Art under the direction of volunteer teachers. Music instruction is provided in preparation for special events; Christmas Concert, Spring Concert, and/or talent show. |
| Fourth and Fifth grade students are taught dance under the auspices of Jacques d’Amboise’s National Dance Institute. A special dance event is held at the end of the year for all to enjoy. |
| Students in grades six through eight may be selected for the Creative Writing Class and students in grades four through eight are selected for Advanced Math class. |
| Eligible students receive small group instruction in math, reading, and writing. |

| Every child in Grades K-8 visits the library weekly and should have a book with them at all times. |

| Every class has Internet Access in the classroom. We also have a fully equipped computer lab, 3 wireless labs, Smart Boards in the upper grade classrooms, and several computers in every classroom. |
